• Our staff will assist you with your luggage transfer to the pier.
• We’ll handle border formalities on both the Thai and Lao sides to ensure a smooth transition.
• Obtaining a visa on arrival is simple – just bring one passport photo and the required fee (USD or equivalent currency).
• Arrive at the pier and board the comfortable Nagi of Mekong cruise.
• Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee as you settle in and admire the scenic Mekong River views.
• Observe the daily routines of people living along the riverbanks: fishing, laundry washing, and perhaps even gold panning (depending on water levels).
• Experience the charm of a rural village with a stop included in the itinerary.
• Return to the boat and savor a delicious hot lunch prepared onboard.

Afternoon

• Arrive in the charming town of Pak Beng.
• Transfer to your pre-booked hotel (not included in this tour).

Evening

• Explore Pak Beng at your own pace. Your cruise host can recommend restaurants and activities for an enjoyable evening.
• Overnight in this small cozy town.

• Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel before check-out.
• Board the Nagi of Mekong cruise for the last leg of the cruise, with another stop at an ethnic village along the river.
• Keep an eye out for elephant bathing and gold panning activities along the riverbanks.
• Savor a delicious hot lunch prepared by the crew.

Afternoon

• Explore the famous Pak Ou caves, home to thousands of Buddha statues.
• Enjoy breathtaking views of the Mekong River from this vantage point.
• Disembark at the pier in Luang Prabang, the former royal capital of Laos.
• Tuk-Tuk or Minivan Transfer: Settle into your comfortable transportation (tuk-tuk or minivan) for a transfer to your place of stay in Luang Prabang.

Afternoon

• Arrive in the charming town of Pak Beng in the afternoon.
• Transfer to your pre-booked hotel (not included in this tour) and settle in for your overnight stay.

Evening

• Explore Pak Beng at your own pace. Your cruise host can recommend restaurants and activities to enjoy your evening.
• Be aware that Pak Beng can get chilly from November to January. Pack warm clothes or a jacket accordingly.

• Check out of your hotel and prepare for departure.
• Board the Nagi of Mekong cruise for the final leg of Mekong journey
• Enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by the crew.

Afternoon

• Visit a local village along the Mekong River.
• Arrive at the town of Houy Xay around 4:30 PM.
• Our staff will assist you with the transfer to the Lao-Thai border checkpoint.
• Receive a bus ticket for onward travel to Chiang Khong, Thailand, on the other side of the border.
