Indochina Voyages organized a fantastic trip for my teen daughter and I to Vietnam. Minh Vu, our travel consultant, was able to accommodate all of our requests. There were several things that we wanted to experience and we were able to do them all. Our guides and drivers were extremely punctual, informative and kind. My husband and I spent 2 1/2 weeks in Vietnam and Cambodia! We had the most wonderful adventure. We love to experience the culture, the food, history and hear the stories of people and our trip included all of those things.

Minh from Indochina Voyages was amazing in creating a personalized trip that included North, Central and South Vietnam, as well as Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. We had personal tour guides in every area in addition to plenty of personal time to explore ourselves. All of our guides were excellent with a special shout out to Jackie in North Vietnam! Another highlight was the Vespa night tour in Saigon!

It was a trip of a lifetime and we can’t wait to go back to SE Asia. With all of that the price was amazingly reasonable!

We had planned our trip prior to covid so our trip was even more special due to waiting for so long. From the first contact with our travel consultant Minh Vu, who kept in contact over the years of planning I can only say he was exceptional. We visited North, central and South Vietnam as well as Cambodia. We had so many highlights, from our cyclo ( Xich Lo) tour around the French quarter, food tour, cooking class, canoeing through the caves in Ninh Binh to our 2 night cruise on a junk boat on Bai Tu Long Bay and our 2 night cruise on our private sampan on the Mekong Delta. We did so much more to mention. It was wonderful to learn about the culture in Vietnam and we have a better understanding of this beautiful country. Our guides Kien, Jarod, Une and our wonderful drivers were outstanding. We can’t wait to come back again in the future and will be definitely planning our trip with Minh Vu.

Indochina Voyages and especially our agent Van Do helped make our trip memorable and relaxing. We had a private tour arranged for 4 of us, 2 couples. Van arranged everyting from the internal flights, hotels, many of our meals, cooking classes, elephant sactuary visit, transportation (van), our own driver and english speaking guide in every city we visited. The guides were knowledgeable, flexible with our needs, respectful and friendly. We were met at each airport by our guide who helped us check into our hotel and get oriented to our new city. Van was organized, detailed oriented and was able to fit in everything we wanted to see. She would check in with us periodically to make sure things were going well. One day I was sick, she even emailed me to see if I was ok. We felt the trip was also very affordable for all that was included. We would highly recommend using Indochina Voyages and we also recommend Van Do as the travle agent. We have been telling family and friends about our trip and recommended both to them.

As frequent travellers we have experienced numerous guided tours. But this trip to Vietnam, planned and arranged by our tour organiser Ngoc Huang, exceeded all expectations.

From the moment we were met at Hanoi airport, through to the Ha Long Bay cruise, and on to Saigon, the trip went like clockwork. The hotels situated in the best parts of town (the Old Quarter in Hanoi and District 1 in Saigon), were excellent. All for a very reasonable price.

The 2 tour guides (Dan in Hanoi, as well as Emma in Saigon) were enthusiastic, knowledgeable and humorous. Both were flexible, and were able to vary the original itinerary based on our request for a more local experience. Even the private cars, as well as the drivers were impeccable.

Ngoc’s attention to detail was excellent, and she was in touch with us right through the trip to ensure all was well. She even met us in person in Saigon to see if there was anything else we needed!

Everything was perfectly organized by Indochina Voyages! Every single detail was according to the plan. No delay; Nice and friendly local guides and drivers who took us on individual routes through the cities and charming countries. Very well chosen local restaurants.
What has to be pointed out: we were so happy with our central tour assistant Mrs Hoang Ngoc. She was friendliness and helpfulness in person: quick and detailed responses during the planning; and during the tour she gave us daily(!) checkup and was staying in contact for any requests every minute. She gave us the feeling of being part of the Indochina Voyage family. Warm-hearted!

We spent 15 days traveling in north and central Vietnam and Cambodia. We were two couples, we selected four star accommodations, and private guides and transportation. Vietnam was beautiful and fascinating, Cambodia was amazing. Our custom itinerary met and exceeded our expectations. The guides and drivers were excellent. The hotels were lovely. It’s hard for me to pick my favorite parts of the trip, but I would say the rice terraces in Pu Luong, the hotel in Ninh Binh, and the temples in Siem Reap are among many special memories…. And also the bahn mi in Hoi An!

I came across Indochina Voyages during my research for our trip to Vietnam. As the reviews were excellent, I contacted them for help with an itinerary.

Minh returned my email query promptly. The itinerary he sent covered the specific sights we wanted to see, the level of accommodations we preferred, and the pace we wanted. It provided details on daily activities and travel times and links to hotels. I only had to make a couple of adjustments to a perfect itinerary. Minh’s communications covered absolutely everything from guidelines on how and when to fill out the visa form, what to pack, and the immunizations we’d need to other essential information like currency exchange, how much to tip, and the best places to order my custom leather jacket while in Hoi An!
The true value of partnering with Indochina Voyages comes through once you arrive. We don’t usually use a tour company, but a private tour appealed to us as this was our first trip to SE Asia.

Aside from having everything handled, our guides and drivers were wonderful. We learned a lot, ate exceptional food, and saw not just the key sights, but much of the countryside. Our guides were very organized – on our first packed day in Hanoi I mentioned that I wanted to experience the train that runs through the city street – so closely that you can touch it as it goes by. Our guide Dan said no problem and got us to a great viewing area about 5 minutes before the train came without disrupting our itinerary. It was great fun and after hearing how long other tourists had to sit around to wait for the train, I appreciated his savvy timing. In Hoi An, the purchase of our leather goods meant we had to use another duffle bag. When our guide Kent saw the additional bag on our way to the airport, he alerted us that Vietnam Airlines only allows 1 bag per passenger for domestic flights and we had three bags for two people. We were a bit panicked but he assured us he’d figure out a way to get the bags on the flight. It took a few minutes of discussion at check in, but the airline accepted the bag and all was well.

Minh checked on us throughout the trip but I also realized that he was regularly checking in with the guides and hotel staff as well, just to ensure all was going smoothly – which is was.

Lastly, I really appreciated the attention that was paid to hotel room selection. At each city, my husband and I looked at each other and said, our room is in the PERFECT location!

Indochina Voyages expanded their services to accommodate our group of 20 yoga-loving travellers on a journey through Vietnam and Cambodia. Not only did Minh organize fantastic tours, luxurious hotels, and delicious meals, but he made it possible for us to practice yoga as a group in all sorts of creative and appropriate places; from a rooftop bar, to the deck of a junk to an actual yoga studio.
Each of our 3 guides were knowledgeable, kindhearted, effective and able to adapt to the diverse needs of our group.
